A product of the NSW public education system, I have a strong belief that every person has a right to an education if they are willing to take responsibility for their own learning. I am currently working as a teacher in the ACT and enjoy the challenge of making this true for all of the students I spend my work day with.

My interests are in developing relevant, dynamic curriculum that engages students and challenges them to explore their own learning potential. This includes using current technologies in ways that are exciting not only for the students in the classroom, but for me in observing how improved outcomes can be made possible by empowering kids.

Other interests include sport, reading and computer games (yes, I’m a nerd), all of which I like to think I’m pretty good at. I’d like each day to be about 8 hours longer so there is actually time to do everything I intend to do -  24 hours just don’t cut it.
